We made it through our vegetarian Thanksgiving! It was quite delicious thanks to a whirl of activity in the kitchen Thanksgiving morning. In addition to no turkey, we had a brunch. Both approaches brought about a lot of conversations about traditions and attachments to foods and times for food on that particular day! Above is our neighborhood turkey family making a visit to our chickens. A good time was had by all!!

We have been studying our Fedco Catalog dreaming about next summers garden. Learning about soil, crop rotation, how much, when etc. The catalog is very fun filled and informative!
Want to finish this day now!
Oh, the Providence Wintertime Farmer's Market opens tomorrow. It is actually in Pawtucket but we are looking forward to that helping us through the next few months. Our blueberries are already getting low! Some Rhode Islanders may have to pack a lunch to make it all the way to Pawtucket. If you do, check out the Foundry Show that is right around the corner from the Market!
Hope everyone is staying calm and enjoying life!
